1. Understand what is live
Campaign proposals are received for private administrator review. Public campaign stories, donor activity and fundraising totals are samples. Donation selectors do not charge you, and Stripe is not connected for live giving.
2. Check the campaign and recipient
Before any future live donation, read the campaign, organizer identity, beneficiary relationship, use of funds and supporting information. Approval of a proposal is not proof that every statement has been independently verified. Ask questions before paying if anything is unclear.
3. Review costs and payment terms
A future checkout must disclose the payment recipient, currency, fees, supported methods, payout arrangements and refund conditions. No fixed payment-provider rate, zero-fee promise, tax benefit or direct-to-hospital transfer is currently guaranteed.
4. Protect your personal information
Do not put passwords, bank credentials or card information in a story, contact message or social-media reply. Organizers should obtain permission before sharing another person’s image or medical circumstances. Read the Privacy Policy before submitting.
5. Avoid impersonation and pressure
Do not send money to an external account simply because a message uses the UNORA name or logo. Confirm official channels independently. Be cautious of urgency, promises of guaranteed outcomes or requests to pay a fee to receive a refund.
6. Know the limits of refunds
There are no live site charges to refund. Future refund rules must be confirmed before payment collection starts. Read Refund & Cancellation for requests, campaign withdrawal, bank disputes and the absence of guaranteed processing times.
7. Keep evidence and raise concerns
For future transactions, save the payment receipt and campaign details. Report suspicious activity through a verified support channel once one is supplied. The current contact preview does not deliver a report or start an investigation.
